Cohen fictional cliche ridden movie wherein clichéd cop shoots someone in the leg as they are running from chipping a body.

I've never heard ANYONE comment negatively about that scene and Chief Marge Gunderson is a cultural icon of sorts.

,,,dummies that were damaged by mischievous pranksters that painted them with red paint...so the guy was just grinding them up for an unspecified use.

Sounds silly..maybe but it COULD happen and today's Police Force would have riddled the person with bullets ...for nothing.
