A tempest of hail and strong winds was moving Sunday evening into the Omaha metropolitan area.
The region could see half-inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts, the National Weather Service said.
The storms earlier rocked Wahoo and Yutan, in Saunders County, and the weather service said its radar indicated that gusts there reached 60 mph. Quarter-sized hail had fallen, the radar showed.
Rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch were forecast.
Stay with Omaha.com for updates on the weather in the metro area.
