Sanders to hold town halls on budget

The Vermont Independent is expected to hold town halls in Washington, D.C., on April 22; Lanham, Md., on May 5; and Charlottesville, Va., on May 11.

Any DUers attending?

Bernie has been getting great turnout at all his events over the past year or so. He's been doing a great job - or as great a job as is possible in the GOP Senate - on the Budget Committee. I applaud Harry Reid for giving him that position.

I love Bernie and I hope he runs. I think he would be a fantastic president... still, he would bring a much needed voice to the primary debates.

Bernie may see how the responses are to his town halls and if he gets a good reception, he may actually run for President himself? Of course, I think he would run as an Independent Socialist Democrat.

We need to know where people stand on certain issues... Even if Bernie Sanders did not win any primaries, it would still be a worthwhile project, in my opinion.
