I am reminded of George Carlin and his comment, in regard to ALL politicians:
"these people dont care about you"
It is true, for the most part.
Now, you DO have a choice, actually.
A politician who doesnt much care about you and one who kind of hates you.
Which do you choose, the one who wont overtly go out of their way to harm you or the one that will?

(114,904 posts)I don't think there's anything sane about the question. I don't buy into it's premise. I've already said I'll vote for the dem nominee.
I think your op is really, really bizarre and creepy as all hell.
I trust I've made myself clear.

(68,868 posts)she's got some beliefs that I take issue with (especially on foreign policy) and she's definitely a little too comfortable with the rich and powerful.
But, her record and life story is not that of someone who is indifferent to the suffering of others.

Dubya Bush > John Roberts and Samuel Alito
Bill Clinton > Stephen Breyer and Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Dubya Daddy > Clarence Thomas
Regan > Antonin Scalia and Anthony Kennedy
This is what happens when Dems vote for a Green Party candidate or refuse to vote because a particular Dem does not past some test. We get this. Ask Florida Dems if they would like a do-over on voting for Nader?

(19,569 posts)Framing our choices as bad or worse? Yeah, that's gonna fly with political wonks.
FWIW I regret giving your "Why all of a sudden is it so important Hillary have competition within the party?" thread a serious answer now. You're just playing and I was too stupid to realize it at first.
NoJusticeNoPeace
(5,018 posts)If the answer is yes, and it clearly is, then my framing couldnt be more important or accurate.
You see we can lose the WH to the right, it could happen.
