If you have been conscious over the past few days, chances are youve seen coverage of the unrest in Baltimore. Youve probably seen images of destroyed police cars, and watched pundits shame the unruly youths who have acted in a disrespectful manner.
These reports focused on the negative. Reported by people who were looking to instill shock, they focused on the dozens who chose violence, rather than the hundreds who didnt. While there were many moments of violence, there were just as many moments of the Baltimore community coming together in positive ways.
