Grey’s Anatomy Star, In Heartfelt Twitter Essay, Perfectly Shuts Down Baltimore Critics

Jesse Williams, known for his role on ABC’s hit Thursday night drama Grey’s Anatomy, is also known for speaking his mind regarding racism and police brutality.

After the death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore, several protests have sprung up, including some riots. Citizens are fed up with police getting away with brutality, all too often resulting in death.

Williams, in a very impassioned and heartfelt Twitter essay, tells it like it is. He lets people know a thing or two about why people are upset, and have every right to be upset.

He says:

“If you don’t actually care about Black people having equal protection under the law, why are you making suggestions to those who do? What are the critical elements that constitute a “riot” and when do riots offend you?
