Everything in the US comes back to depressed wages including the debt that young folks are no longer willing to accrue just for some letters in back of their names that are no longer a guarantee of enough of a job to pay those debts off. Yes, this country is in steep decline in all areas and much of it goes back to the late 70s, when wages were allowed to lag far behind inflation.
