Not sure what he's waiting for....he'll win Iowa and S. Carolina easily and by doing so, establish himself as a major player.

(99,719 posts)He is currently polling at 1% with a four percent margin of error so he could be polling as high as five percent or as low as -4% so there are people yet to be born who oppose his candidacy.
He's also trailing Hillary by over seventy points in his home state of Virginia:

(11,856 posts)I'm certainly not in love with this guys politics, but I strongly believe he can return misguided democrats (read white men) back to their common senses. That's what the country needs right now.

(53,339 posts)I love him for that, though I wouldn't support him for President.
His book, 'Fields of Fire,' helped me to finally open up on my Vietnam experience after suppressing it for 16 years. Even though it was about Marine grunts, not Army, it struck home. I remember that I'd be reading it and suddenly come out of a reverie to see the book laid over the arm of the couch, me in tears...

(11,856 posts)I see him as a way back to the sensible America that we can't have with the 9 o'clock, three o'clock mentality.
We have to find a workable solution or this experiment will end badly...and soon.
