Bill Gothard, the 80-year-old perpetual bachelor, alleged sexual abuser of at least 34 women, and founder of the Duggars warped fundamentalist homeschool cult, has some thoughts to share in the form of a fancy new website with a new statement. Or at least, he did for the few hours it was live. Now, the new site and statement have both mysteriously disappeared.
Fortunately, the blog Homeschoolers Anonymous preserved the text of the unaccredited Ph.D. holders New Statement in its entirety, which you can read below. But to help you cut through all of Gothards accusatory, victim-blaming bullshit, here are some of the more notable bits:

I was raised R.C. and while there was a good amount of reference to martyrs for the One True Faith in my education, I had never heard of this book. Turns out it's about Protestant martyrs killed by Catholics. Of course.
