When the cops have tanks-expect big holes in homes

Billy Bob- "We gots a young kid in a house with a gun. We chased him here after he shoplifted. What'd we do?"
Sgt. Overkill -"Shit, let's get that new fangled tank out of storage and smash the place down"
Billy Bob -"Hey, what's about a negotiator. Maybe tear gas?"
Overkill - " Fuck that. Run the tank thru a few fences and rip the shit out of that house."

And with that they ran the tank over fences and proceeded to enjoy themselves making holes in a house with a family in it. Yah, militarize the police - hell, a missile would have been quicker.

I think the president recently imposed some limits on the military stuff we hand out to the police. I'm sure the limits are not tight enough, but I assume they won't be able to get nuclear warheads. I hope.

That looks like a $200,000 house that was totaled. Quite a disproportionate response...if first offense, a judge would have sentenced the shoplifter to a years probation, court costs, and made him pay the store back.
