like the grand aunt and her daughter who made up nun habits and used to wander the streets of Albany, reading loudly from their prayer books. Eventually they got tired of it and kicked the habit, it probably got to hot for them in mid July.

I never understood why people laughed at "Arsenic and Old Lace." It would have been perfectly reasonable in my family to yell "CHARGE!" as one ran up the stairs, emulating Teddy Roosevelt at San Juan Hill.

Imagine my surprise when I started school and realized other people didn't live like that.
