As things go, why organize the next Democratic Convention

Hillary is already the Party Establishment Already Desognated Nominee. It just will be a total waste of money!

Seriously she is already so POPULAR she can take the luxury to avoid the press and recruit supporters as "Ordinary People met " in her staged "spontaneous roundtable"

I feel really bad for Bernie, O' Malley who will win only on this race by getting their names popped put from tje shadows. Nontheless I will support Bernie till the end.

On Hillary Clinton. Look at her critocs
While previous Dem nominees got feom Repuke smears campaingn dragging their honor, being and familly dragged into the mud for months, the attacks she is facing are only political, based onClintons ESTABLISHED taste for money, secrecy and their collution within pomicy and self interest. .

From the Fascist RW it spunds almost nice.

Strange very strange, considering Dem powerstructure aqquints a lot with Righties.

2. Guess they should have called off Obama's 2012 convention since he had no opposition

Sarcasm to underline how how all the Establishment is behind Hillary. And yes both Clintons managed sucessfully to buid theor moni empire since Bill left the WH.

Secondly, Obama was a SITTING president. When running a second term its rare there is a primary.

4. Every four years, there is a Democratic National Convention.

One of its jobs is to nominate someone to run for President as a Democrat. However, that is not all that happens there. A platform of positions is also created, which remains in effect until the next national convention. It's also a way for delegates, who are selected from every State to network together and plan for the future.

So, there will be a convention next year, as there always is. I just thought I'd give you some more information, since you are not in the United States and may not know the details of these conventions.

Since we do have multiple candidates running in the primary elections, that will also make the convention necessary. That's how the Democratic Party operates.

It appears to me as though he is gunning to be the last one standing at the convention.

Im just feraing than, having learned the 2008 lesson, the Clinton team will not let the nomination slip away from Hillary' s hand. Whatever it takes. And here we are. There is supposed to be a primary season. And yet the Party Powerstructures had already decided who will win.

...inconvenient truth, which the OP is not. To put it simply, it's just more pissing, moaning, and groaning. It's funny to me that the only time Clinton is mentioned as the so-called anointed one and all the other bullshit cliches thrown around, it only comes from the anti-Hillary crowd. Really need some new material. It's like being stuck in hell with Carrot Top doing the same routine over and over again.

You have to start sometime this September and the rules are complicated. It would be expensive and a great deal of work but I hope to be in Philadephia in 2016 for this convention
