Please God-please- take Pat Robertson up into your bosum

He's said some pretty despicable things and some shitty things and some insensitive things, but NEVER has he dove into the cesspool of his insanity than with this:

Pat "comforts" a woman who has lost her child at birth by saying her dead child could have been a Hitler, Stalin or a serial killer, therefore take comfort in that. Of all the things he could have said, he says it's all God's plan. Maybe so, but what a fucked up way to say it.

Hey, Satan - your guy is still doing good work here.

Something about Bill the Cat becoming "Fundamentally Oral Bill" and making a collection for god to call home all televangelists- Robertson, Swaggert, Falwell... etc.

For some reason that is what I am thinking about.

I was a huge Bloom County fan and still miss it. Calvin and Hobbes, too.

Why go through all the rigamarole when he could have just had a nice baby appear in heaven? Is God a sadist?

I keep thinking this horrible person is dead.

Such a shame to think that dead child could have been great ........ while this creep still goes on ticking with his hate and ignorance. Life definitely is not fair.

The 700 Club - my elderly neighbour spend most of her days and nights watching these religious frauds, especially 'The 700 Club'. She faithfully walked down with her cheque to the post office once a week - I was Postmaster at the time and knew the house she owned was falling down around her.

I've stumbled on and hurried away from 'The 700 Club' and other such bull* programming while changing channels in the past many, many times.

CBN.com - M. G. "Pat" Robertson has achieved national and international recognition as a religious broadcaster, philanthropist, educator, religious leader, businessman, and author. He is the founder and chairman of The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) Inc., and founder of International Family Entertainment Inc., Regent University, Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation, American Center for Law and Justice, The Flying Hospital, Inc. and several other organizations and broadcast entities.

Founded in 1960, CBN was the first Christian television network established in the United States. Today CBN is one of the world's largest television ministries and produces programming seen in 200 nations and heard in 70 languages including Russian, Arabic, Spanish, French and Chinese. CBN's flagship program, The 700 Club, which Mr. Robertson hosts, can be seen in 97 percent of television markets across the United States and is one of the longest running religious television shows that reaches an average of one million American viewers daily.

International programs[edit]
CBN Broadcasts currently reach over 100 nations in dozens of languages, and are viewed by more than 360 million people each year.[citation needed] CBN's primary strategy is to develop television shows produced by local staff in selected countries. Programs are culturally sensitive, relevant to the ethnic audience, and presented in their native language.

CBN has established international centers in Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Germany, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Mexico, the Middle East, Nigeria, Peru, the Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

I have no idea how big a following he has. Hopefully not big at all. He's a sick man.
