Dramatic video from an Albuquerque Police Department shows an officer resuscitating an unconscious baby while the girl's distraught family looks on.
Police said on Tuesday that Officer Martin Smith was called to a home on May 14 and found a 7-month-old baby girl who was unresponsive.
Smith is then seen in the video giving the child CPR, and rubbing her chest in order to revive her.
Within moments, the baby responds and begins breathing on her own as Smith is overheard saying on the video, "There she is, she's good. She's good."

Generalizations suck.
Thanks for posting.
Often we hear the bad, but there are some great cops out there doing amazing things.

(26,614 posts)had taken infant CPR training (and was a very level-headed person). Terrifying thing to have happen.
That's some pretty awesome work by the officer, and kind of a funny video in a way (once you know the outcome): the dude just walks in and reactivates the baby, like he flipped the power switch or something...
