I have heard in quite a while ...

"Who is not going to give Colorado and New Mexico to the guy that speaks fluent Spanish!"

Well ... by that metric, we can write off every urban center to Rubio because he almost could name his favorite member of the Wu Tang Clan!

there is no more to it than the surface consideration - i.e. if they run a Hispanic candidate they will get the Hispanic vote. Not necessarily.

They thought they would get women by choosing Palin. They really think it is that easy and they don't learn.
