Granite State voters will get a hearty helping of political retreads this week as Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton try to reintroduce themselves again in an effort to spice up their stale campaigns in a state where both names have long been on the menu....
....Both candidates will heavily tour New Hampshire this week, but Clinton and Bush would be wise to keep in mind yet another thing Granite State voters are known for backing the underdog. Thats how Clinton found herself in their good graces in 2008, and its also how U.S. Sen. John McCain beat George W. in New Hampshire in 2000 and clinched the nomination in 2008.
Considering that both Bush and Clinton are well-known, well-funded and well-staffed, its unlikely either can claim underdog status.
All they can do is try to reheat their White House bids and hope Granite Staters are hungry for leftovers. And lets hope those voters have saved some room. Because another classic rehash is due to land in New Hampshire Wednesday, after Donald Trump makes his announcement.
