• Loyal Americans would be treated merely as consumers while unpatriotic types of all stripes would be considered costs
• Consumers have limited rights versus the corporate person, but costs can be eliminated
• A nation's "brand identity" is more about image than substance; in short, cosmetic nationalism would become the American Way
• The motto of E Pluribus Unum would be wielded like a bludgeon to stamp out diversity and institute conformity
• Independence Day would ultimately become a day to celebrate "freedom" from government red tape and regulation

Anytime you hear some fiscal conservative, pro-business jackass spout why America should be run like a corporation, know that this person is the enemy within.

not for anything like material gain but for intangible Prestige. He'd be worse than Bush.
