Be all things to all people but what is he really? The GOP will provide a treasure trove of material for comedians- especially in the primaries.

(51,076 posts)He writes a column in Popular Mechanic that I enjoy. He said once that he tried to stay our of leaning either right or left as either would be a disaster. I'm not sure how it put it but that is what I got from what he said. Leno is a thinker and a tinkerer and I can identify with both of those qualities so in that we're kindred.

(50,566 posts)I couldn't stand that guy. I've rarely been so happy to see someone leave TV.
I thought his show was almost physically painful to watch. Just cringe-worthy at every turn.
But, hey, to each her own, I guess.

(45,251 posts)Leno once muttered something about being a conservative, brother in the service, patriotic. Thus, pushing the meme that only conservatives are patriotic. Leno also took some pot shots at Democrats that he did not take at Republicans. For instance, he mocked Democrats who came on his show for setting conditions, claiming Republicans did not do the same. Well, duh, given he was a Republican, Democratic advance people did not necessarily trust him to be fair to their candidates. And, mind you, I picked up these tidbits even though I didn't watch him all that much. Politically, Leno can kiss my left ass cheek.
Fallon, I just don't watch. Tried a couple of times, just couldn't get interested.
