Just a week before her murder Dee Dee was begging for money for Camp Barnabas. It's a camp for children with disabilities. My kid has talked about working there next year and I know others who have, along with Camp Wonderland. (That camp was mentioned on another site for the same family.) So she was pulling a scam just a week before her death.

The story gets more twisted by the day.

They really believed that Gypsy was in poor shape and didn't have too much longer left. They all thought they were helping a little girl live her last days in as much comfort and joy as possible.

I've actually heard of them. I saw someone in my area just a couple of weeks ago with a 417 tattoo. I said something to a friend about why would someone get such a stupid tattoo and she said it meant they were a member of the Joplin Honkies, a trashy red neck methy sort of country gang.
