I learned that the south was a great place before and after the Civil War. I learned that the Civil War was about State RIGHTS. I learned that the North was the oppressing faction. I learned that black slaves actually wanted to stay with their owners.
I learned that the confederate flag represents freedom. I learned that Alan West sold whatever soul he may have had. I learned that most Republicans are cowards. I learned that good guys with guns prevent all gun killings. I learned that my ex idiot governor is still an idiot.(Rick Perry) I learned that what Roof did was not an attack on a minority group but rather an attack on Religion.
Well, I learned alot today, but most importantly I learned of a very special ability. The ability to detect bull shit.
Thanks for the time!!!

(2,427 posts)I really dislike the revisionism and re-branding of the bullshit - every time something horrendous goes down the usual suspects fire up the furnace and cast some new shit straw men to place across the country. We need to progress past this. I would hope as time goes by the number of people carrying this toilet water would diminish but it seems their voices are as strong as ever.
