Why are right-wingers so desperate to blame anything BUT racism?

I think it's obvious.
The right-wing wants the racist vote, the racist money like donations from the CCC.

The confessed shooter who massacred members of a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, made it clear that he sought his victims out because of their race and wanted to start a race war. However, Republican politicians and Fox News pundits have either feigned ignorance about the shooter’s admitted motivations or have come up with alternative explanations for the massacre.

produced a tragedy. I don't even know if he understands where he is in his life. To be honest, I admire the families who could speak to Roof and say they forgive him, I am not personally to the point I can say this to him. I am angry our places of worship is haunted by people who hate and desire to disrupt those who are practicing their choice of religion. We are all a race, and to plan and try to start a race war is not from normal thinking. I love the USA, to see the melting pot we are, ergo the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

... from his defense because of his plans, his talk to the police and because of what he did for an hour before he started his racist terrorist actions.

race war, very shallow thinking on his part. A kid lost in his own mind who manufactured hate, if he had carried a Bible instead of a gun our nation would be mush better today.
