We can't have Jeb exposed as the leader of a party filled with elected lawmakers who just happen to sound just like Dylann Roof, now, can we?

Color me cynical. Because you know THEIR cynicism is behind the sudden rush from Republicans to side with common decency - an uncommon occurrence the last 30 years.

Rumor is they will take it down in August (just before the first primary debate).
If they are serious, it should be taken down before Senator/Rev Clementa Pinckney's funeral on Friday.

...and calculated to seem like a victory. In the end a few bigots will return funds from a racist group and one confederate flag will be removed. And the vile bastards will resent losing even this pittance over nine dead blacks...
