(17,320 posts)I saw a momma goose take on a large cotton mouth (highly venomous ) and run him off from her nest.
The snake made several strike lunges at the goose but she managed to dodge them all.

Animals seem to go for weakness and run away from shows of strength.

(46,788 posts)I don't think my wild rabbit is having a good time of it. Haven't seen a baby rabbit all summer. But I have seen plenty of predators.
