'Murder of the masses': seven insane right-wing predictions about gay marriage

Right Wing Watch story here

From the article:

In anticipation of the upcoming Supreme Court ruling, we’ve compiled a video of the Right’s most dire warnings about a potential decision striking down gay marriage bans, including self-proclaimed “prophet” Cindy Jacobs' fear that gay marriage will lead to natural disasters; preacher Scott Lively predicting a devastating “calamity”; Glenn Beck turning into the anti-gay version of Martin Luther King, Jr.; Tony Perkins calling for a revolution against gay marriage; and Pat Robertson, well, being Pat Robertson.

The other one is young LGBT people killing themselves when their direct environment is saturated with messages that infer them.

Most of the time, I can understand an opposing viewpoint, but not this time. I just can not wrap my head around why people oppose gay marriage so venomously. I would never enter a gay marriage, I am straight as they come. But I honestly can not see how my neighbor's gay marriage affects me one bit. Even if my entire neighborhood was comprised of gay married couples....how does that hurt me? And why would some one dedicate their lives to making sure none of my neighbors are in a gay marriage? Who cares?

Any other issue, gun control, abortion, immigration, the budget, trade deals, you name it, I disagree with people, but at least I understand their opposition...on gay marriage? I just can not see the other side.

/if the courts ban gay marriage, I predict the nation will be hit with floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive blizzards.

// on the other hand, if the courts legalize gay marriage: I predict the nation will be hit with floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive blizzards.

/// Just wait, my predictions will come true.
