Faux News cries bitter tears over Obamacare decision today. Love it.

"Fair and Balanced" indeed. Been channel surfing about this (retired, have the time). They have had every opponent they can think of to have on, including that eminent unbiased legal scholar, Karl Rove. Here's a screen shot of their coverage:

Of course, they can't say so publicly, but a decision against the subsidies would have put Republicans, especially Congressional Republicans, in a bad predicament. They couldn't go along with a simple Democratic bill to fix the ACA because the Tea Party would have screamed bloody murder. OTOH, they couldn't go into the 2016 elections on a platform of letting eight million people lose their coverage because Republican ideologues wouldn't stand up to their party's extremists.

Some Republicans were preparing a quasi-fix that would restore the subsidies temporarily. The temporary period would have expired shortly after the election. Fancy that! Of course, that would still have brought the charge of "RINO" against anyone who voted for it.
