I still have male acquaintances who have to be reminded that certain words and attitudes are hurtful and unnecessary. They still get their feathers ruffled when I call them on their sexism.

I am so glad to be single and self-sufficient!

I tried my best to raise my sons to be strong, supportive men who treat women and others as people. My youngest has more female friends than male, and always has.

I remain hopeful that the DUers who minimize this issue, or call feminist DUers the "sisters of perpetual outrage," will come to understand that sexism and misogyny are damaging to us all.
