What do you do if you drop your wallet on Polk Street?... You kick it down to Van Ness.

Today is a great day to be gay in America!

Politics and symbology aside, I wouldn't mind seeing this on more crosswalks (especially in rock-rib Republican neighborhoods).

May the City of St. Francis be what the future looks like for the rest of the country - without all the inclines, of course.

Its hard biking around the city, your legs will look like bodybuilders.. but there is always public transportation. Too expensive for a Car, and no place to park. (Not even out on the street!..)
I take a cab when I really have to be somewhere!

I rarely ride this, leave it for the tourists.

But hey, I weighed 20 pounds less and usually had so much energy in my legs it bothered me to go up steps without bounding 3 at a time. It is one healthy - if somewhat perilous - habit.

As for the trolley, I must admit to feeling that very provincial urge to belt out:

(seriously though, I love your city. The cityscape, the culture, the weather - and yes, the trolley).

It has been taken over by hipsters and tuppies, with only one gay bar left. I loved Polk when it was full of gay bars, drag bars, and trans bars -- now, not so much.

I think this is down where Polk runs towards the Civic Center -- making itself purty for Pride weekend.

Found the historical noises of rainbows splashed gloriously on the net in just 15 minutes.

Beautiful song even if you don't speak Japanese.
