What an amazing day, what an amazing week.

I'd like to thank all my brothers and sisters here at DU who have shared in this amazing week by sharing videos, sharing stories, sharing hope.

We're blessed to have each other. And to share in all that has changed the course of history this past week.

Supreme Court rules in favor of the Affordable Care Act. People here and all across our land keep continuing the struggle toward universal health care.

Supreme Court rules in favor of gay marriage. People here who have demonstrated love and good cheer celebrate with each other and their partners and vow to keep pushing for more inclusiveness, more freedom.

An AME church in Charleston holds a service for their loved ones cut down by an act of terror and racial hatred. People here share the video of this profound service. Of President Obama's words of history and amazing grace. People here continue talking, continue sharing books and magazine articles. They share knowledge and light, continue speaking. Most importantly, they become better at listening to one another. And find new and better ways to learn by listening.

It's a pleasure sharing these events with you. Let's keep listening. Let's keep talking. Let's keep finding ways to become more inclusive. Let's keep expanding opportunities. It's a lifelong struggle. I'm glad to be a part of it.
