Any God that would approve of Antonin Scalia

is no God that anyone sane or moral should acknowledge.

I don't know if there's a single nastier human being alive right now. I honestly do not know. The man is full of nothing but hatred, judgement, and cruelty from his head to his toes. Not an ounce of selfless compassion or joy resides within that man. He has the soul of a reptile--and less warmth.

I don't know what Scalia IS, but the man is no Christian. Jesus of Nazareth wouldn't abide him. I'm not sure how anyone does. If I were Pope Francis I'd start a brand new religion, just to exclude Scalia from it.

Sorry all. Been celebrating this victory (and my birthday!) all day today, but I had to get that off my chest. What a horrible, heartless person he is. *shakes head*

You do know about free will? Even Scalia is God's creation. Do you stop loving your children when they misbehave?

No, I cannot approve of Scalia, but then I am not God. Read the words of the man for whom our faith is named, "Judge not, lest you be judged."

Scalia will answer in due corse, but not to you or me.

Nothing could make me stop loving my child, but approval? That must be earned.

Every horrible person is someone's kid. If more of their parents had disapproved and intervened, the world would be a better place.

Every Justice appointed by a Republican President, with the exception of Kennedy, nominated by Reagan,* voted the same way Scalia did--Alito, Roberts, Scalia and Thomas. Every Catholic Justice, with the exception of Kennedy and Sotomayor, voted the same way Scalia did--Alito, Roberts, Scalia and Thomas.

Scalia may have the most candid and vocal mouth on him, and the most vain hat, but his vote carried no more weight than the vote of any Justice who votes with him.

* to longship for correcting me on who nominated Kennedy.

Scalia's dissents or majority opinions, is equally to blame. Ultimately, Scalia's "mouth" means nothing unless four other justices vote with him in a Supreme Court case. Anyone who votes with him is as culpable as he is, even if they let him do the "talking."
