with shouts and heckles and picketts?
Flip Benham has already done this a few times .
As conservatives grow more desperate, they may do more of this.

(82,849 posts)They will get increasingly desperate as their structure of bigotry continues to crumble. We may even see a murder before they're quelled.

(39,961 posts)happy gay unions, and gay people that love each other with happier families than the crazy hecklers and picketters have, so I'd be shocked if they became less assholish than they have been for decades.
If they don't get more vituperative, even in private ceremonies, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
And it won't stop a single wedding, because nobody is getting married to asshole ideas, they are getting married to the person they love.

Proud Liberal Dem
(24,464 posts)until other people point out the obvious truth that NOBODY is allowed tresspass, disturb the peace and EVERYBODY gets arrested for that (well, unless you're anti-abortion because of your religious beliefs and you might get some more leeway)- but Fox pundits and right-wing hate shows will never point this out, of course.

(1,958 posts)run-of-the-mill conservative Christian get some friends together and show up at a courthouse to disrupt a same sex marriahe, I highly doubt it. If there is an organized group like the Westboro Baptist Church that is going to do such a thing, I haven't heard about them.
