(15,394 posts)So he and Milo could change the headline of the next day's lead story from, "Reagan Calls Women America's Most Valuable Resource," to, "Reagan Calls Women America's Little Dumplins." The next day had Oliver watching the aftermath, and the last line always got me.

(24,654 posts)It's just amazing to me to think how much technology has progressed since 1990 and how much worse the Republicans have gotten. Mr. Breathed is going to have a lot to work with!

(5,141 posts)Apparently, Trump's so-called candidacy brought Berkeley out of hiding.
His Facebook page is great-he actually answers posts--for now. Hes gotten thousands of hits and comments since he released this cartoon this morning so I suspect he may be rather busy now.
Now if we can just get Gary Larson to bring back the Far Side...

(15,469 posts)A short strip with 1 to 4/8 panels can eviscerate an opponent and be enjoyable. An Op-Ed with 250-1000 words becomes pedantic.
If The Far Side wants to step into the farmyard mess that the politicians and their swill-mates have constructed, life would be perfect.

Maybe Berkley Breathed will return to Iowa City to write it where he wrote it before in time for the Iowa caucuses?...

(19,537 posts)I wonder if we might have a newer one in that setting with Bernie coming in to help those that are striking against Colonel Sanders' KFC company for higher wages these days to support Bernie Sanders now!... Perhaps the protestors could then put up signs over KFC's trademarks, etc. in the store to have "Bernie Sanders' Chicken" or "Bernie Sanders' veggie chicken" instead... with GMO labeling and everything with it.

(27,985 posts)Steve was forced to rename them after he was brought before a congressional hearing investigating the effect of heavy metal music on youth, similar to the Parents Music Resource Center.
Also, it was "Deathtöngue" with the 80's umlaut.

(4,552 posts)I could not believe that Bad Breath quit his artistic creations. We had a relationship and he walked out. He dumped me flat and I am still a little tender. You just can't trust artist's. Can I possibly risk another relationship? Why should I?
I invested in Bad Breath. We had something special. I own all his books. They are still stored in the drawers under my bed where I often cry myself to sleep thinking about what we had. Oh but we did have fun. No No, stop you are caving again. I do this every time I'm a big push over. I seem to love being walked on. But I am older and smarter now. You won't have your way with me again.
Man that toon is a funny one. I am so doomed.
Get some mouthwash Bad Breath.
