Rick Perry: Still Searching for Competent Thinking???

On occasion I venture forth to the right-wing sites just to find out what they're up to. Today, Rick Perry, the former Republican governor of Texas and current presidential candidate had this to say at Red State (a rather noxious site), in an essay called We Must Move Past The Empty Calories Of Trumpism, And Return To Conservatism:

Because of the failed foreign policy of the Obama Administration, our 45th president will have to deal with an emboldened Iran that will have renewed access to hundreds of billions of dollars that even the Obama Administration acknowledges can be used to fund terrorism.
This, combined with an agreement that amounts to nuclear appeasement, promises a major realignment in the Middle East at the expense of our Arab allies and Israel. And it will surely lead to the development of a Sunni (!!!) bomb.

What is it with Republicans and Sarah-Palin types???

In thinking things over further, I have SERIOUS doubts that Rick Perry even knows that about 20 years ago Pakistan already built the "Sunni bomb."
