(12,977 posts)At nearly two in the morning, the diehards left at the Blue Moon Saloon in Lafayette, Louisiana on December 22, 2011 were witness to the Figs' transformation of their own "And So It Goes" into a cover of the Talking Heads "Psycho Killer."

(7,681 posts)It's the Figs doing a great, fun cover of a classic song. That's what it was when it was posted and that's what it still is. We should let it just be that.

(5,141 posts)The world laughs (in embarrassed horror) at us while our children die. None of my European friends/family will visit this country now...theyre terrified of the gun-humpers and Christian extremists. American Exceptionalism is, and was ever thus, total and utter bullshit.
Fuck you NRA. Fuck you doubly politicians who take their dirty money.

(5,141 posts)Ive had some disappointments in my life but every time I think the President is upset, and hes going to do something about this... (e.g. post Sandy Hook which isnt too far from where I live) I am disappointed. How much money could the NRA be giving our elected officials that this is allowed to go on? Certainly there must be SOMEONE in the government who understands that WE WANT THIS TO STOP?!
