Anyone who saw his show this morning knows what I'm talking about. Hyping the NBC/Marist poll is one thing, but then trying his damnedest to figure out how in the hell Romney can win in the fall with his fudging the electoral college map like he did is something else. He is trying so hard to make Romney look good and Obama look bad, it was incredible.
Add to that, talking with former Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold about the Scott Walker recall race. Hyping one poll that has Walker up 52-44, while completely ignoring another poll that has the race tied at 49. When Feingold brought up the other poll, Todd shrugged it off, like he couldn't actually believe those numbers.
Todd, like the rest of the MSM, wants a close race, but today, he went completely Republican. He looked like he was working for FauxNews today. How about a little objectivity Chuck?? Obviously you blew it today!!

(71,265 posts)Todd is no republican. Todd worked for Tom Harkin before going to hotline. Now the poll that had them at 49% was a democratic poll, so he is not going to give it much weight. As for going through electoral college possibilities for Romney, well that's his job. You are being unfair to the man. This is a close race not because he or the media want one, but because it is close. The economy stinks and the President will suffer for Bush's mistakes.

(417 posts)but to respond to your post and say "Chuckie is a hard core republican here's the proof" I looked at his wikipedia page and it says his wife Kristian is a "Democratic operative"....
Color me shocked!!!

(96,793 posts)That's all that matters. I don't care what his voter registration card says. I don't care what his former job was. I don't care what his wife does for a living.
He acts like a fucking republican.

Chuck Todd can call himself a Fruit Salad, but that doesn't mean he is one.

Maybe he is liberal. Who would ever know given the output of his on-screen utterances?
Good thing he's got such a great resume. Without that, no one would ever know he was anything but a paid shill for the Republicans and their militaristic donors.
If he were a liberal in his heart, he would not be able to do the sterling job he does for GE, IMO.
He's just a weak kneed self censoring phony.

(31,011 posts)I've seen him spout talking points, not challenge flat out lies, and more or less show how lazy he is on the job.
I caught some grief here on DU because I always liked Tim Russert. The worst thing MSNBC ever did was give Chuck Todd Tim Russert's job. In no way did he ever deserve it.
