Assumptions that Bush is drunk are unfair

A lot of times a person who destroys his brain with alcoholism and cocaine addiction will manifest decreased brain function later in life, much like older NFL players pay the price for concussions received in youth.

And when someone with a destroyed brain started out incredibly stupid and utterly lacking in character he has few resources with which to paper over the fact that his brain has been reduced to a pulpy, bubble-filled mass.

So please don't assume Bush is drunk simply because he cannot stand straight, cannot focus his eyes, cannot speak and has a wet, simpering, distant smirk. An MRI of the man's head probably looks like Swiss cheese, and has since at least 2000.

I'm a heavy drinker and while I probably have a different defintion of drunk from most of the rest of you, I've never at my worst been that incoherent and disconnected from reality.
