Was watching the greatness that is "Throught the Wormhole" last night and they were showing some previews of upcoming shows (new season starting). I was like, they went there? but found this on the website..should be another really interesting show like all the others they produce.

(43,235 posts)Horses who have won the Kentucky Derby have gone on to subsequently lose the other two races and are cast off as flukes. Horses who have won the Belmont may not have won either of the prior two races and therefore they may be considered irrelevant.
But in order for both the Kentucky Derby AND the Belmont to have any relevance to one another, the horse must win the Preakness.
