Some of them will come right to your door, interrupt what you are doing, and then remind you of this fact. They can question your morals and your behavior freely and do so publicly.

Now ... if you oppose them publicly ... if you tell them that you don't care what their imaginary friend tells them to think about you ... it is you who have attacked them.

Not all religious people behave this way ... but its far too common, particularly from the religious right.
