All the Zimmerman apologists hitching their stars to him as a cause celebre...

....whether they think it advances their cause in terms of gun policy, or whether they just want an excuse to use the case to bitch and moan about Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama or any other black person not named Allen West or Clarance Thomas, or whether they want to use him to excuse the act of racial profiling.....

....may find themselves sorely disappointed if the guy--true to form--reveals himself to be more and more of a liar and an idiot, including his accounts of events on February 26, 2012.

Remember Eric Massa, the former Congressman who ended up resigning due to allegations of odd behavior between him and some staff members? Remember how Glenn Beck jumped on the case and how he thought Representative Massa would expose all the evil, Machiavellian machinations of the Obama administration and how he would be the whistleblower to bring the administration to its knees? And remember how he had Rep. Massa on his (now defunct) TV show for an entire hour in the hopes that it would show to America that a brave man was being railroaded by the evil president? And remember how instead Rep. Massa took up the entire hour talking about how he liked to get into "tickle fights" with his staff?

And remember, pricelessly, how Glenn Beck was forced at the end to say to his audience, "America, I've got to shoot straight with you. I think I've wasted your time."

It's pretty much the same thing, I think.

Just don't be too surprised if and when Zimmerman's story falls apart, his up-to-then supporters jump ship and start questioning his legal status as a Hispanic living in this country.....

Most definitely:

Just don't be too surprised if and when Zimmerman's story falls apart, his up-to-then supporters jump ship and start questioning his legal status as a Hispanic living in this country.....

That will be their end of the line move.

And with the "coded" messages---this dude is going to be seen as someone manipulative and using his situation to benefit himself. Republican freaks are like cannibals at times--- they turn on themselves----I speak of the generic, gun-holding, republican voter. And when they see they've been duped, they will go nuts. However, I'm a bit shocked they are not seeing the problems between this guy and Romney. They're story keeps shifting. And now Zimmerman has managed to lasso in his own lawyer in to the mix.

Since it is a non-capital case, and Florida allows six person juries in non-capital criminal cases.

Still a task, although I don't think Second Degree Murder is necessarily an overcharge as some have claimed. If, for example, Zimmerman had pointed his gun at Trayvon and then waited a few seconds before shooting his gun, that is enough time to form an intent to kill. But it will all hinge on the evidence actually presented.

with just this judge, and Zimmerman having to testify and being totally dependent on his own credibility with this judge.

In any event, it should be an interesting trial if it gets that far.
