"I moved here to get away from you people"

One of my coworkers said this to a man who stood up in the row in front of her at a baseball game last night. The man was blocking her view of the game so she felt like she had the right to give him a piece of her mind. He turned around and he called her a racist. (The man was hispanic and she is caucasian.)

So she's asking my manager "Its not even ok to say You People" now? And he said no, its not.

Over the course of the day I figured out that my manager was the only other person in my workgroup voting to get rid of Scott Walker today.

To me "You People" are the Republicans.
