Donald Trump Screws Up – Insults Warren

Last edited Sat May 7, 2016, 11:43 PM - Edit history (1)

In my opinion the master of insults just made one of the biggest mistakes of his short and unconventional political career. Elizabeth Warren baited him by calling him out on Twitter and Trump took the bait – hook, line and sinker. The insults are still flying back and forth between the two and I expect that Elizabeth won’t let up. By engaging Warren (the hero of the liberal wing of the Democratic party) in a Twitter war, Trump is sure the stir up the animosity from many who were Bernie Sanders’ supporters who are also among Elizabeth Warren’s biggest fans.

A common refrain among media talking heads has been, “No one will turnout Democratic voters like Donald Trump”. In a very crafty move Warren is using Trump’s proclivity to insult any and everyone who in any way attacks him to unite the Democratic Party and left leaning independents behind Hillary Clinton in a way no one else can.

every one of them would call him out publicly for speaking that way to one of their members.

The Donald will find out the hard way, I guess.

You have to have the mentality of a 3rd grade tease or bully to identify with such a strange person. He represents nothing of what a leader should embody. And yet, something is compelling his followers to want to stand next to him as their roll model.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]He's no 3rd-grade bully and a pretty intelligent person, so I couldn't understand and asked "Why? How?!" His response was, "I don't care if the President is an asshole, as long as he gets the job done."

My next question was, "What, in your mind, is 'getting the job done'?" No response other than repetition of the same line. I think he was actually afraid to reveal his shamefully self-centered focus.

As I learned more about him, I found that it was all about the money - his money. He's wealthy, a good part of it inherited. He complained about taxes all the time and complained especially bitterly that he had to pay capital gains on the sale of a commercial property, while homeowners get an exemption.

He's actually a Libertarian identifying as a Republican and his primary, self-stated goal in life is to "play" - but it's perfectly okay with him that other people have to struggle 24/7 just to survive. "Luck of the draw," he says.

Trump's racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, hate-mongering aspect? "It's just an act to stay in the news."

I hope corrupt Hillary Clinton chooses goofy Elizabeth Warren as her running mate. I will defeat them both.

Let’s properly check goofy Elizabeth Warren’s records to see if she is Native American. I say she’s a fraud!

Goofy Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton’s flunky, has a career that is totally based on a lie. She is not Native American.

Warren's career is based on whether she's a Native American or not?

Alrighty then!

I love too how she's "Hillary Clinton’s flunky". More like the other way 'round.

Senator Warren does not need to provide me with her birth certificate, or genome coding.

I'm from the North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia border area and I claim the Cherokee, blood or no, as my own.

,,,it doesn't matter that he has an overall plan into which his extemporaneous remarks are supposed to fit, he is going to screw up, and badly, occasionally. Some of Trumps major SNAFU's.

Example 1 - His failure to disavow David Duke's enforcement immediately

Example 2 - His remark that women should be punished for having an abortion which cause instant condemnation from both the left and the right.

Example 3 - Not ignoring Elizabeth Warren tweets and thus calling attention to his battle with her. (See my reasons why this was a huge mistake in the OP.)

And this is by no means a definitive list of his screw ups.

The nice thing is that he is going to screw up again, many times, between now and November.
