We have a record number of Oriels, at least 20 pairs. The neighbor kid calls them oreos. We are on our second 27 oz jar of jelly this morning already.
Somebody asked for more bird pix in a reply to me (yesterday?). but I can't remember who it was. Please let me know if you see these.
Three of the species below are first photos of them this year. I thought for a change I'd let DUers identify the birds below.

Music to enjoy while looking these over.

(12,051 posts)1. Let's see -- is that a
painted bunting, rose-breasted grosbeak, and a red-bellied woodpecker?
You have such a wonderful variety of birds. We get the woodpeckers, but we've never seen a bunting, grosbeak, or orioles of any kind in our yard. I recently saw a veery, though, and a brown creeper, so I should be happy, right?

Painted bunting males are multi-color, females are green and buntings have smaller beaks.

All lovely!
The most "exotic" bird I see in my neck of the woods is the rose-breasted grosbeak. It makes an appearance at our feeder once or twice a year.

So far so good.
Great rainbow song. I had the 45. The video sucks.
