First they allow the protesters to show they protect free speech. Then they declare it's time to disperse. Then they can fill up the jails. 1,2.3. Easy.

It seems thousands of pro trump and anti trump people are in the same spot at the same time. Maybe the cops just want to stop it from getting out of hand. I don't know for sure I just got home and saw it

As to what happened,. Trump folks went around the block (and around the police) and into the crowd of anti trump protesters and that is when the fun started. They declared it an illegal assembly about the tenth arrest and the flying bottles, I got it from a couple sources that it was the trump who provoked this. We were far from the actual action on a high perch. And we still donned helmets.

Need to hunt the photos we took of officers using the LRAD as a sound system to declare this an ilegal assembly.

so we knew what was the good perch for a two person team. Most of the arrests happened on the push back to Barrio Logan. One of them was a candidate for city attorney. Will link to that video. Smart move boys, if he wins that is a hell of a way to start your relationship...
