I'm wondering what makes them come to that conclusion? Where these leaks attributed to a WH source? Or is this just an assumption on the part of the Repugs and their sympathizers that the leaks came out of the WH?
Are there any security committees in the Senate or House that could have had the knowledge of the info that they say was leaked?
Are there people in the military-perhaps working at the Pentagon that could have had the knowledge of the info that they say was leaked? I'm sure that there are a lot of old BushCo appointees that have been carried over by the Obama Administration still working there. Could any of these embedded military be the culprits? After all there are proposed cuts to the defense budget - wouldn't some at the Pentagon be pissed about that and want to create a problem for the President?
I'm sorry - I don't believe the leaks came from the WH. This whole controversy sounds too Rovian for me.

(15,189 posts)Who was crying about no WMD's? Was there an investigation? No! 2.3 Trillion missing from Pentagon, was there an investigation? No! 2 110 story building fall at 10 stories a second. Was there an investigation? Hardly. Their priorities need to be fixed.

(31,849 posts)on one Sunday morning show (I can't remember which one) ... the articles themselves point to "dozens" of unnamed Whitehouse sources.
In normal speak, that translates to: "a janitor overheard the public parking lot attendant say, he heard ..."
