David Horowitz's new book really claimed that "An Inconvenient Truth" came out in 1996

Via Media Matters, this is an actual passage from the latest waste of paper by David Horowitz (co authored with Jacob Laskin) The New Leviathan: How the Left-Wing Money-Machine Shapes American Politics and Threatens America's Future:

"By his second term in the White House, (Al) Gore had established himself as the Paul Revere of the cause. In 1996, he produced and starred in a documentary film called An Inconvenient Truth."

All you can do after this is:

And MMFA pointed out other shoddily researched claims including that ACORN ran the Obama campaign and that SEIU president Andy Stern was the most frequent White House guest at one time.

But then again, Horowitz is an ex-leftist who has now found a new career telling lies for the right wing anti-college industry.

Who is still trying to resolve his deep seated emotional problems he has with his parents.

Born into a family of Communists, Horowitz embraced the radical left in the sixties. But as he grew older, he saw that the big money was on the right, so he embraced Reagan and the radical right, and has never left.

Nothing but a political mercenary, and a pretty dumb one at that. But hey, he finally rebelled against his Communist parents by becoming a serious right wing radical.

he marched his ass over to the right to see what he could get in on there.

Giving this asshat any airplay at all is a disservice to the community.
