(183,056 posts)whichever comes first. I remember reading about the FBI press conference and you could feel the sorrow and regret through the words.
Frankly I wouldn't have allowed that kid to mow my lawn let alone sell him a gun regardless of a background check or not. Sorry to be judgmental but I've been around long enough to at least recognize a freak when I see one.

(7,290 posts)The law was in place to keep Roof from getting the gun, but people involved in the process screwed up, and he fell through the cracks.
How is that anyone's fault except for the people who screwed up?
