I don't ever think he intended to vote for Trump. Scarborough is completely 100% part of the Republican establishment. However, he and Mika were/are personal friends of Trump, and so they helped give him a platform. Also, he was ratings gold.

Scarborough seems to have turned against Trump after he proposed banning all Muslims from the United States.

Good-- I'm glad. Tho' it's a little strange to hear Joe rant against dumdum when they're both repukes!

But there's a lot of that going on, isn't there??

Thanks!

He still gives Trump plenty of cover. They are constantly crowing about how the pivot is going to happen any day now. All Trump has to do is read off a teleprompter and not say anything off the script for at least a couple hours to get favorable support from them. (In other words, be controlled by the Republican elite, lol. 'Shut up Trump, and read what we wrote for you.')

He knows how damaging Trump will prove to in the long run, especially if Trump pulls off a win.

My mom told me that one day after lightly going after Trump on the Muslim ban that he was absent from the rest of that show. The only mention of his absence being Mika saying Joe was on the phone and then quickly changing the subject while looking scared and confused. She's convinced Trump called Joe's boss to complain about the way Joe went after him. He's been hardcore anti-Trump ever since the day after that when he came back to work. I believe her. It perfectly explains Joe's turn and Trump's character.
