Chuck Quirmbach reported that the reason Wisconsin's jobs numbers were the lowest in the nation is because they were old numbers, and employers were waiting to see what happened with the recall. Just you wait, WI is going to have the highest jobs number in the nation these next few months.
Next, Robin Vos (Rep. State Senator) says that they should get bipartisan support to amend their recall process.

(53,410 posts)You gotta hand it to them.
When Bush was selected he spent the first eight months overturning as many social programs as he could. I couldn't believe how fast he was moving and swear to this day that he was working off a list compiled by the likes of Cheney, though I didn't know it was Cheney and when the PNAC mission became public it proved my intuition right. No one noticed except us political junkies and then he hit the Trifecta on 9/11. As a matter of fact it was around June that I found DU and other liberal sites in my desperation to find solace.
This is what they do. Scott Walker is just their useful puppet. The agenda has been set a long time ago.
And I bet the employment numbers will indeed show that Scott Walker has miraculously created tons of jobs. People will wonder why they can't find one, but no matter. The numbers will lie.
If I sound bitter it's because I am.

(26,624 posts)fathers and mothers who are desperately trying to live off of the 300.00 of food share the past two years since the stopping of the high speed rail, and the sending away of their jobs can breath a little easier...
Aslo...Such a great reason to amend the recall process... They cheat and lie, and give our jobs away... and now they change the laws to block anyone from challenging them... Yep the political machine is a maverick thing for those who holds all the money...

Secondly, make it easier to recall elected officials, thereby better keeping them in line out of fear of recall.

(1,721 posts)expect a lot more "balanced/RW talking points" coverage in the future. Never forget that Amy Goodman and DemocracyNow (a listener sponsored program) were in exile for years after a hostile corporate take-over.
