Wisconsin GOP legislator to introduce 'Blue Lives Matter' bill (No not Dem Lives Matter)

In the wake of a deadly sniper attack on police officers in Dallas, state Rep. David Steffen, R-Howard, plans to introduce legislation that would make it a hate crime to target law enforcement officers in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin bill will be modeled after a similar "Blue Lives Matter" initiative passed in Louisiana earlier this year. The Louisiana law covers police officers, firefighters and EMS personnel.

Louisiana was the first state to pass such a law. Similar measures have been proposed in other states.

Current Wisconsin law defines a hate crime as a crime based in whole or in part on a person's race, religion, color, disability, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry.

was undoubtedly helped by having the head of the state police, the speaker of the house and the leader of the senate all being of the same family.

America's favorite law enforcement leader (he did win the award) is the Milw sheriff who is an arch conservative but who runs as a democrat (in name only)
