and calls Don the Con out as the ridiculously inappropriate candidate to lead this country that he is, how should one react?
You certainly don't want to cause them to go back to supporting Don the Con out of spite. So what does one do?
I ask this because I see it happening now and, hopefully, at an accelerating rate in the future. This is not, IMHO, a purely hypothetical scenario.

(12,165 posts)If I am proud of anything it is this- When I was younger I held some opinions that are reprehensible to me now. I actually had something pop into my head during this morning's bike ride. Up ahead was a squirrel in the road. It was certainly aware of me as I was of it. It has been said that we humans are self-aware animals and other animals are not.
I don't know if that is true but what my thought was, and this is anecdotal, I have be unself-aware of the motivation for some of my actions and thoughts. As I have grown older maybe I am a little wiser which has given me greater self-awareness. So was I less human and becoming more human and does this apply to people at large?

And when our paths cross, we have an opportunity to cooperate and collaborate, or to collide.
I'm glad you didn't collide with the squirrel.

just watch. I said elsewhere, lacking a complete meltdown in Cleveland, or the release of his Trump U deposition (not going to happen that soon), he's going to be leading in most of, if not all, swing states.
