The truth is that the Murdoch heirs, who are overseeing more and more of the business as Rupert finally slows down, have always despised Ailes and have wanted to dump him for years.

Carlson and the others who have come forward have given them an excuse. They don't believe those silly little women, of course. It was just time for Ailes to go and any excuse was a good one.

and with Pox's target demographic of bitter old retired white males dying off at an alarming rate and not being replaced with new suckers, they'll want to change things at least a little. I have a feeling it won't be quite as monolithic a propaganda tower as it has been.

They knew Ailes wasn't up to that job and it was long past time for him to be put out to pasture in favor of some 40 something wingnut who would change things enough to sucker younger victims.

They'll get new sets, at the very least.

Ms. Ratnor had nothing but praise for Ailes and Fox News. She said she never had any problems with Ailes and their newsroom is loaded with liberal journalists. Makes me wonder if she is saying those things to protect Ailes her job or what.
